Contract Corporate Trainer / Denver
Holiday Retirement, the leader in Independent Retirement Luxury Living is seeking an effective and talented Corporate Trainer for our Denver Colorado location to work on a contract basis!
Summary: Deliver a variety of training courses to Holiday Retirement Associates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate courses as required, including the Sales Training Course and the Community Manager/Co-Manager (CM) new hire training course.
- Ensure the training environment is conducive to learning.
- Prepare the training environment for the training session.
- Ensure that all AV equipment is in working order prior to the session.Provide written evaluation of trainees at the mid-point and at the conclusion of the training course.
- Maintain classroom attendance records.
- Travel to different Communities within the local market to provide training.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Familiarize and abide by all the expectations and standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Normal office working environment.
- Must be able to travel to communities within the local Denver area

Education/Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in training, education, liberal arts, or related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical data, procedure manuals, and safety guidelines and apply to training curriculum.
- Minimum of three years previous experience providing training to adult learners.
- Excellent one-on-one communication skills.
- Excellent group presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to use a variety of learning and training concepts and principles required as well as knowledge of adult learning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated research, analytical, creative problem-solving, questioning, and feedback skills.
- Customer service focus and commitment to quality, responsibility, high work standards, and initiatives.
- Solid project and time-management skills.
- Computer proficiency and ability to use media effectively.
- Understanding of corporate etiquette is essential.
